About the Journal

Sustainable Development Economics Research (SDER) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Penerbit Bashaedu, Padang, Indonesia. This journal focuses on disseminating innovative and high-quality research that explores the interconnection between economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social equity within the context of sustainable development.

SDER aims to advance the understanding and implementation of sustainable economic practices that align with global challenges such as climate change, poverty reduction, resource management, and inclusive growth. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders to exchange ideas and promote actionable insights supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

All manuscripts submitted to SDER undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure originality, quality, and scientific integrity. The journal publishes empirical studies, theoretical papers, and policy analyses that contribute to the development of sustainable economic knowledge at local, national, and international levels.

SDER is published twice a year, in February and November, both in online and print editions, to ensure wide accessibility for global readers and contributors.
